Hi – I have checked out the track at the top of Waiere Falls – it is the called the North South Track and follows along the top coming towards Te Aroha and eventually meets up with Thompsons Track coming out at Shaftsbury Rd, near Te Aroha.

Hi again – have done a bit more research into the tracks.

Its about 1 1/2 hours to the top of Waiere Falls, another 20mins to the junction of the North South Track from there it is about 2 hrs 45 mins to the Te Tuhi Track and another 1...

Oh thanks so much. Is it well marked? It is just that i am not tooooo good with directions in the bush! I suppose if i get lost i could always just go down....i am sure i would come out somewhere?!?!?!

Hi – It should all be very well marked – they are Doc Tracks and recently had the walking festival in the area which used this track as one of their featured walks.

The best bet is to go to either the Matamata or Te Aroha I site and get...
