Starts with an uphill climb through paddock, then undulates through bush and emerges at a look-out area near rocky outcrops. Provides a view of all the harbour bays, to the sweep of white beach down to Bream Tail. The adjoining track that runs from Reotahi to Little Munroe Bay is wide, gravelled and a short 20 minute stroll. View Walk Details.

I think the time given for this walk is rather inaccurate! The track is actually closed at the moment due to the heavy rain we experienced in January. The circular route around the bottom takes approximately one hour, but there is a major slip still across the track between the old freezing works and Little Munro Bay. The track from Tiller Park, up and over to Little Munro Bay takes approximately one hour, but it is closed due to a slip near the Tiller Park end. Hopefully the council will start work clearing these slips soon!
