I'm looking for someone to walk with Thursday afternoons/early Friday mornings/Friday afternoons and possibly Sunday afternoons. Would like to go rain, hail or shine... so only a really good excuse will do. Am based Hamilton North but anything considered. Starting with around 5km walks with a plan to do half marathon later in the year. Would love to hear from you... am so bored walking on my own

Lol I may be a bit late.... but I thought I would reply , I have just moved into Hamilton recently and live in Ham East, I too am looking for a walking buddy as I previously had one for many years.
Your "rain, hail or shine' is my type of mantra !
I did the 10kms walk in Flagstaff so am hoping to do a half next year(21 km)

I'm Maria and I live in Pukete. I'm new to this forum and can't believe my luck in finding this website! I have been trying to get fitter - not to lose weight but to feel better about me and to appreciate life more - we are so blessed in NZ!
I recently celebrated my 50th by walking 19.4 km across Tongariro and got such a buzz (as well as sore muscles) but want to continue walking - rain or shine.
I work however, so need a buddy for weekends - my hubby is a TV fan. I have a little dog and would love to take him but not sure what treks/walks I can do.
