I am looking for a walking buddy to walk with weekends and maybe mid week. I am planning to do Auckland and Kerikeri half marathon and need some one to do the ks with me. I have done previous half marathons so know the training involved.

I hope you find another wonderwalker near you. That's gtreat that you're planning to do Auckland and Kerikeri. I'm not sure of the dates but maybe they are posted on the home page, so I'll have a look. I've never done anything of that length but I did enjoy doing 10km.
Keep in touch with how you're going and hope someone pops up in your area.

Thanks for replying to me.I had planned to do those two last year but had knee problems. Have done New York and London marathons but not going to do any more marathons .I think the half will be a challenge at the moment

Hi there,
Did you ever find a walking buddy? I'm in the Mt Eden/Balmoral area and keen to get out and walk before work if you're still interested. I'm also going up to Kerikeri this weekend to support a friend doing the half marathon (I didn't start training in time!).
