- Description
The Wetlands is an extensive restoration project aiming to attract back to the area animals and plants unique to New Zealand.
Pathways have been formed through the existing ponga area. Small bridges have been constructed over water areas at various points and viewing platforms. Boardwalks have been created allowing walkers access to most areas within the reserve.
It is peaceful and pretty and well worth the look.
