Cambridge Domain Walk

- Walk commences in Thornton Road.
- Description
- The Cambridge Domain consists of 17ยท6 hectares which includes Lake Te KoUtu. Start the walk at the Domain gates erected in 1911 in memory of Thomas Wells who helped create this park with his committee. The paths are named after the chairman of the Domain Board and trees of note are the Cedar of Lebanon, Kauris, large chestnuts, oaks and planes. A Camellia Grove was planted in 1962 and puts on a beautiful display in spring. You can find out the history of this area by visiting Cambridge Museum
