- Access to the Reserve is off Highbrook Drive in East Tamaki.
- Description
The Highbrook Recreation Reserve offers 12 km of walking and cycle tracks through 40 hectares of land.
The park runs along the rim of the Pukekiwiriki crater which is estimated to be 50,000-100,000 years old. The reserve is administered and maintained by the Highbrook Park Trust with financial contribution from the Manukau City Council for landscaping. The Park features coastal walkways and open parkland including the Pukekiwiriki Crater, one of Auckland’s oldest volcanic craters.
