Rotary Walkway - Pakuranga

- Entry to the walkway is off Botany Road, Pakuranga Road, Cascades Road or Ti Rakau Drive.
- Description
The Rotary Walkway runs from Pigeon Mountain to Pakuranga Road. The walk takes you beside the Tamaki River and Wakaaranga Creek. You have views up and down the Tamaki River (Te Wai o Mokoia), layers of ash, peat and ignimbrite, wetland areas and features of historical and cultural significance.
The walkway is paved and relatively flat, making it suitable for wheelchairs, pushchairs and a range of fitness levels. Numerous entry points along the way make it easy to vary the length of your walk. There is a BMX track on the southern side of Pigeon Mountain (Ohuiarangi).
