Episode 1 - Betty Finds Her First Recruits

Standing on a street corner, Betty Bunion's worried her soliciting looks suspicious. She's been busier than regrowth on a bottled blonde, looking for likely girls all around town. Now she suspects she might have been stood up. After all, her instructions had been precise – if you want to join a walking group, meet here in Town Square.

Suddenly Betty spots a couple of likely contenders.

1. They are women.

2. They have appropriate footwear.

3. They can walk.

Could this be the beginning of something beautiful?

But wait there's more. Two more. She hears them before she sees them. The women are giggling and guffawing, swinging their water bottles and what IS that the bigger one is wearing?

The loud tee-shirt emblazoned with the words ‘WONDER WALKERS’ carries Betty's dream a step further.
