Ti Point Coastal Walkway

Location

Ti Point Road. Ti Point is very close to Leigh and Goat Island, just over an hours drive north of Auckland. Turn off State Highway 1 at Warkworth and take the road from there past Matakana towards Leigh. Turnoff just before Leigh to the Ti Point wharf where you can park your car.

Description

Walk starting from jetty around foreshore to Ti Point Scenic Reserve (DOC). One steep section. Private property to Tatham Rd from Scenic Reserve. Popular fishing spot off rocks. This varied walk offers a variety of terrain with sea views. Ti Point just an hour north of the heart of the City of Sails offers some often underrated basalt cliffs in one of the most spectacular settings you will ever climb in.
