Omaha Cove Walk

- Take SH1 to Warkworth and turn right to reach Leigh township.
- Description
- The walk begins beside Leigh Wharf — a one-hour return walk with coastal forest and bird-life. After leaving the boat ramp, the track goes round the harbour edges on a concrete path and then over a small footbridge until it reaches the stepped track where the Wellsford Road then joins the main track. The next 200 metres is on private property, then over another footbridge and through forest and scrub. The track ends on private property and at a small beach. Return the way you came. Car parking is available at the Leigh Wharf car park at the northern end of the township.
