The People You Meet.

it never ceases to amaze me the people you meet each day whilst walking. I vary my walking routes depending on time,weather and more often than not the dog.
You often see the same people going about their daily ritual.It is so often a lesson in human nature. On my dog walks we seem to know the names of the dogs but seldom their owners so you become known as Molly's mum or Scooter's dad but at the risk of serious generalisation dog lovers are a pretty friendly lot.
I always think it costs nothing and takes no time to smile and say hello so I am always mystified by the number of people who deliberately avoid eye contact. I know there are probably plenty of reasons.
Heavens knows there are days when I am preoccupied or when trying to get up the Mount as quickly as I can... too busy breathing.
But even the bad days can suddenly seem much brighter after a good walk in the fresh air and some friendly souls who take the time to smile and say hello.
