The Royal Wedding

Absolutely nothing to do with walking but I must admit I am really looking forward to watching the wedding of the century on the box tonight.
No-one does pomp and pageantry like the Brits and I can remember as a 17 year old being over whlemed by the the occasion of Prince Charles and Diana's wedding.
Strnage that i would be such a royalist as I am deep down a staunch feminist but I sense that this handsome couple will save the House of Windsor. They seem more in touch and less likely to be embroiled in scandals like some of the previous royals.
Anyway any old excuse for a party. We are all getting dressed up in our old wedding gowns well those who have not been let down by mother nature. My mother sent my wedding dress up in flames when she brushed past my designer tulle meringue with her cigarette..so i will have to dig up an alternative to go with my tiara.
Anyway after all the doom and gloom it will be nice to gaze and wonder at a real life fairy tale.
