Women and Walking

When we conceived the idea of WW we were inspired by the fact that over centuries women have walked/marched for causes. We love the famous photo of Dame Whina with her granddaughter on the great Hikoi to Parliament .

Women and walking have always been synonymous with caring for and about others.....

One event for Tauranga women that’s coming up this Friday is the ‘Girls Night in...... the Dark--....”a walk in Papamoa Hills to raise money for breast cancer. I think what caught my eye was the fact that at the end you get coffee and cake ...YUM!

Just another great example of having some fun doing something that’s good for you and others!

Can’t actually say that about a lot of things!

Hope you are managing to get out there most days enjoying some winter sun ....talking of sun ,Susan will be back soon hopefully rested from the magic of Bali. It ‘ll be lots of BALIHI!
