Distance from Auckland: Hunua Falls – 50km (60 minutes)
From Auckland, head south on State Highway 1 (Southern Motorway) and take the Papakura off-ramp. Turn left and follow Beach Road across Great South Road and along Settlement Road. Turn right by Edmund Hillary School into Hunua Road which takes you to the Hunua Ranges.

- This loop is made by combining the Suspension bridge track with part of the Wairoa Cossey track. The track can be walked in either direction. Viewing platforms give pictorial views across Wairoa reservoir and the Hunua Range.
