- Take the North-Western Motorway to the Great North Rd Exit. Follow Great North Rd onto Ash St which leads onto Rata St. Take Titirangi Rd right through Titirangi Village to the roundabout, take Huia Rd and follow through to Huia

Huia is a quiet settlement by the Manukau Harbour with tidal beaches, picnic spots, forest walks and campsites.
This circular walks begins from the Karamatura Valley picnic area and passes through forest with great views and impressive northern rata.
