Murray’s Creek Goldfield Circuit

- Description
Walk on the main Murray’s Creek Track passing the junction to the Energetic Mine Track and the Cement Town bridges. After the junction the main track leads to Chandlers Open Cast Coalmine and to the Waitahu Track junction at a saddle. From the main track climb to the Inglewood junction and past the Painkiller Track junction to the iron remnants of the Inglewood Mine.
Take the Royal Track to another saddle. Reach the Ajax Mine shaft (518m deep) and the Battery. From here the track climbs to another saddle and then it is a descent of about 300 m to the main Murray’s Creek Track.
It is 4-5 hrs to Murray’s Creek returning via Royal Track.
