Walk from either Waitarere or Hokio Beach to the wreck of the Hydrabad. Approximately 15 minutes walk from Waitarere or 1 hour from Hokio.
The Hydrabad was a sqare rigged sailing ship which ran aground during a severe storm in 1878.You can read more on the history here
