Pakihi Walk
- Location
- Head 15 km north of Franz Josef and take the Okarito turn off to the left. The walk is sign posted 5.7 km on the right hand side of the road to Okarito.
- Description
- The track crosses the Pakihi swamp and climbs gently through kamahi and rimu forest to a platform lookout. Here you will get a superb view of rainforest, mountains and sea.
