Mercer Bay Loop Walk - Piha
- Location
- Turn left off Piha Road into Te Ahuahu Road (1.2km after the Karekare turnoff), follow this as it becomes Log Race Road to a carpark at the roadend.
- Description
- This walk takes you along the clifftops between Karekare and Piha with excellent views of the coast, native cabbage trees, nikau, mahoe, tree ferns and flax. The path is gravel and is steep in parts. 10 min trip to lookout and Te Ahua Point .
