Mangaweka Power Scheme

- Description
- A historical display can be viewed on the site of a hydro power station on the Mangawharariki Stream. The track begins from a parking area on the left hand side after 300 m. There is a power house display area that shows large sections of valve gears and rusting pipes. Over the road to the right is the track to the dam. Take care as this is narrow and slippery in places.
