- Start the walk to Weld Road Beach Reserve from Oakura Beach. 5 minutes further south from Oakura you will find Weld Road Beach Reserve.
- Description
One of the nicest beach walks is to start from Oakura Beach and walk south down to Ahu Ahu Beach then across to Weld Road. You get to see some beautiful beach scenery and surf breaks.
At Weld Road Beach Reserve you will find toilets, a great little river the kids can swim in, surfcasting, and surf breaks which are ideal for beginners.
