Coastal Trail

- Start from either Waipawa or Waipukurau and explore the eastern districts of Porangahau and coastal settlements.
- Description
The Coastal Trails main theme is the pastoral history of the country between Waipawa and Waipukurau and the eastern beaches. Many examples of pioneering farming enterprise are included on the trail. Allow a full day to compete the trail.
There are two scenic Bush Reserves and the Te Angiangi Marine Reserve, as well as dramatic coastline, exciting beaches and areas steeped in Maori history.
