Description

Conroys Gully was one of the richest of the early discoveries of Dunstan Gold.

A well marked track takes you on a 30 minute walk to the gold workings. From here carry on to Conroys Gully where you can view the well preserved Chinese cave dwellings. Then follow the pegs crossing the Gully to Aldinga Conservation Area where you will discover more gold workings, stone hut ruins and a 4WD track. Great views of Alexandra basin can be viewed from this point. Follow the track crossing north back over Conroys Gully in a loop.

There is a shorter 1 hour trip if you return back the way you came from the cave.
