For those on a tight time schedule a guided walk (90-120 minutes) around the historic precinct provides a glimpse into the yesteryears of Victorian Oamaru.
A tour party bus is available along with a guide who will provide an informative commentary on points of interest around Oamaru including the historic precinct, harbour and Blue Penguin Colony, Oamaru Public Gardens, Whitestone Cheese, the railway station and lower Thames Street.
