Moeraki Heritage Trail

- The introduction to the trail and site one is at Boulder Park, which is off State Highway One, 40kms south of Oamaru and 78kms north of Dunedin.
- Description
Located by the famous Moeraki Boulders. There are a selection of sites providing a great opportunity to stretch your legs and appreciate the unique blend of nature and history, including the Moeraki Lighthouse and Centenary Park.
This is the first Waitaki District Heritage Trail to be put in place. It was opened in October 1984.
The Moeraki Trail consists of five sites. These are the Moeraki Boulders, Kotahitanga Church, Centenary Park, Whaler’s Lookout and Moeraki Lighthouse.- Amenities
