Waioeka Gorge Scenic Reserve

- 20 km south of Opotiki on SH 2. The Tauranga track is 27 km south of Opotiki
- Description
Reserve has 1800 hectares of forest and regenerating farmland. There is a wide range of tracks and walks that can be accessed from this gorge.
The Tauranga track is 27 km south of Opotiki.
The Tauranga Loop track follows the Tauranga River up one side and returns along the other side.
The Mangapumarumaru track is four hours to the Tutaetoko Stream and the Manganuku Track which is two and a half hours to four hours long.
