Mores Lookout Track

- Mores Scenic Reserve, Richard Street, Riverton/Aparima. From south end of bridge proceed along Bay Road, turn right into Richard Street (Signposted from here). Quite a climb, some of it gravel road, but soon you come to the top roundabout.
- Description
This reserve is located on Howells Hill overlooking the township of Riverton/Aparima. Tracks provide panoramic views of Foveaux Strait and feature a rich natural and cultural heritage. This includes wahi tapu/treasured places for Maori, which visitors are asked to respect. An easy walk through native forest emerges at a tree-top lookout platform which offers bird's eye views of the southern coastline and forest below.
Disabled access toilets and picnic area available. Inaccessible to wheelchair.
