Seaward Bush

- Mason Road, Invercargill. Located 5km east of the city, access is gained from Mason Road
- Description
Two loop tracks provide a figure of eight through the large bush remnant. Seaward Bush was extensively milled for house timber in the 19th Century before being protected from further milling in 1928. The reserve contains a good range of regenerating native trees and shrubs including kamahi, rimu, kahikatea and matai.
Short Loop 15 minutes return; Long Loop 30 minutes return.
Inaccessible to wheelchairs.
