Wakapuaka Cemetery Walk

Location

Start from the Mariano Gargiulo gates on Atawhai Drive. The cemetery is also accessible from Atawhai Drive north of the Miyazo Japanese Gardens

Description

This historic tranquil walk takes you to the graves of some of Nelson’s notable citizens. At the top is the obelisk memorial to the Maungatapu murder victims.
