Tinline and Coquille Bay

- Drive 1km beyond the Marahau township and park near the DOC shelter and park café.
- Description
Boardwalks take you on a walk over the estuary and well formed tracks lead through scrub and gorse areas. About 25 mins into the walk you reach the Tinline camping area, with good views back along the coast past Kaiteriteri and Motueka. You can detour fby ollowing a sign to the Porters Rock.
There is a turnoff 10 min beyond Tinline to a steeper sidetrack to Coquille Bay about 5 min.
Return via the same way or walk back along the beach 2 hours either side of low tide.
