Diamond Harbour Cliff Walk
- Location
- Start this walk from the Diamond Harbour Ferry road. There is a sign post ‘Cliff Walk’.
- Description
Follow the ‘Cliff Walk’ sign along a wide pathway to the beach and from here the ‘Cliff Walk’ continues on a beautiful pine needle track with interesting plants. The track zigzags along the cliffs. The track takes you close to cliffs, so care is needed with children. This walk offers coastal views, tussock headlands and flowering plants in spring.
Take care following the pathway, false trails lead to private homes and a side-track leads up to Te Ara Crescent.
From the Koromiko Crescent subdivision walk up Koromiko Crescent to Rainui Crescent and the Church Bay garage and then walk back along the main road or retrace your steps.
