Parnell/Newmarket- start from Broadway in Newmarket.

Description

From Broadway in Newmarket on to Remuera Road, left into Middleton Road, at the bottom by the roundabout cross over on to left hand side and go into Ayr Park – walk up the stairs, eventually the path will end and split into two – the left path leads into Laurie Avenue off Davis Crescent which leads back on to Parnell Rise/Broadway. The right path leads to Kenderdine Avenue which is off Davis Crescent – you could turn left to go up Ayr Street to St Stephens Avenue or turn right to go down
Ayr St back towards the roundabout.

It is a lovely walk in the middle of a suburban area – you feel like you are in the rainforest or in the bush – is a good walk to get the heart-rate going with all the stairs – takes about 35-45 mins, depending on which route you take to get back or what pace you are going at!
