Driving Range Loop Track and Golf Course Walk

HarewoodFrom city: Follow Memorial Avenue or Harewood Road north west or the Main North Road to Johns Road. Look for the highway transit traffic signs for Clearwater Resort. Turn into Clearwater Avenue and follow the road to the Clubhouse.
- Description
Nine kilometres of walking tracks span the perimeter of Clearwater’s championship golf course, adjacent farmlands and ecological heritage sites such as The Groynes Recreation Reserve. The tracks meander alongside aquifer-fed lakes and the Otukaikino Stream, with expansive views of the Southern Alps beyond.
The two new tracks are clearly marked and maps of the tracks with information about features is available from all Council offices, the Clearwater Golf Shop, Peppers hotel reception, or download using the link below.
Walkers should allow up to three hours in total to cover both tracks, during which time they may see summer brown trout rising for mayflies along the Otukaikino Stream, ground-dwelling pukeko and Californian quail (one quail family has been resident on the 13th tee), fantails and Welcome Swallows.
