- Living Streets Aotearoa
Living Streets Aotearoa is New Zealand's primary advocacy organisation for people on foot.
It evolved from Walk Wellington, a voluntary group set up in 1998 by a group of Wellingtonians with an interest in the rights of pedestrians and the benefits of walking.
Living Streets Aotearoa is now a nationwide organisation with branches or affiliates throughout New Zealand.

Netwalking is about gaining ideas and inspiration, marketing yourself or your products and services face-to-face with other Netwalkers, while all the time enjoying some healthy exercise.
- Rock Church Walkers
The Rock, Glover St, Nauranga Gorge, Wellington – Walks to get out and enjoy creation around Wellington Region after church on the third Sunday of the month. Graded easy to moderately strenuous. Friends and family welcome. Usually we have our packed lunch at the top of the hill and sometime during the walk we find a quiet spot and have an amazing quiet time for 10 minutes where we just stop talking and listen to the sounds of the bush or reflect or gaze at the clouds. After the walk we usually find some refreshments at a local cafe.
