Description

This park has remnant patches of lowland beech and podocarp forest with rhododendron and azalea gardens. Of geological interest is the park's faulted river terrace sequence as the park is situated on the Wellington fault line. The park contains a number of features including an open air stage , several play areas, a toddlers paddling pool, flying fox, duck pond, electric barbeques and picnic areas. There are also cricket and soccer fields.

Toilet facilities are available.

The main walkway at Harcourt Park is lit, along with a number of trees.
