- Walk starts from Denton Park in Highbury.
- Description
From Denton Park playground take the path leading off the north side which meets up with Karori Sanctuary. Follow the fence up the hill.
The track to the 14 year old Meridian Energy wind turbine winds around the western perimeter of the sanctuary and is an easy walk for the casual hiker.
You will be able to enjoy the sound of the birds in the sanctuary as well as get excellent views of the harbour, city and south coast.
