Tuapiro Point
- Location
- 5km north of Katikati off SH 2 at end of Tuapiro road. Small sandspit across the channel from Tanners Point.
- Description
Track takes you onto the esplanade reserve and runs along the spit to a fence, when you get to the fence, step onto the beach and continue to the end for some great views of the inner city harbour.
Retrace your tracks or take a short detour and explore the grove of landmark pine trees on your return journey.
