Description

From Akatea Rd, take the well-graded O’Donahoos Track up through regenerating native forest. At the top, cross Maungaraki Rd and walk up the private road to the track entrance steps near the crest of the hill. Enjoy panoramic views from this historic lookout. You may extend this walk by heading down the track beyond the trig and use a private track that comes out onto Titiro Moana Rd. Please respect the generosity of the landowners and comply with all signage on this private track.

Time can vary from 35 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on route taken.
