Sledge Track
- Location
- Access to the Sledge Track is from Hine Road in the Wainuiomata Waterworks Recreation Area. Parking is available at the road end.
- Description
- This track takes you up through native bush and gives views down over the Wainuiomata Valley. To get to the start of the track cross the Triangle Paddock, walk over the truss bridge and follow the river upstream through the gum trees. Return the same way or cross the swing bridge and walk back along the sealed road to the car park.
