Nikau Creek Track
- Location
- Access to this walk is from Hine Road south of Wainuiomata in the Wainuiomata Waterworks Recreation Area. Parking is available at the end of the road.
- Description
Follow the Gums Loop track till you reach the signpost for the Nikau Creek Track.
The track follows Nikau Creek up through regenerating bush and on to original beech forest. Cross the Triangle paddock and go over the truss bridge to the start of the track. The track ends at the second bench seat. Return the same way.
