Puketoki Scenic Reserve

- 20 minutes north from Tauranga, on Leyland road off Whakamarama Road.
- Description
Short Loop – 20 minutes return
Long Loop – 1 hour returnBush surrounds the Te Puna Stream and the old bush tramline, which forms part of the track system, shows the early activities of the Whakamarama land and timber company. Tracks are well developed with bridges. A short side track off the long loop leads to a large rimu and is well worth the short detour.
