Eastern Walkway
- Location
- From the city, take the No.11 Seatoun bus to the Seatoun terminal. The other end of the walkway is in Tarakena Bay at a parking area 2km further along Breaker Bay Road. Refer Council's website below for a map.
- Description
The 2.5km Eastern Walkway extends along the southern end of Miramar Peninsula from the Pass of Branda to Tarakena Bay.
There is an additional walk to Point Dorset where you can discover World War II gun batteries and observation posts.
You will enjoy many Maori historical sites and spectacular views of Wellington Harbour.
