Lindemann Loop Track

- Access to this track is at the end of Lindemann Road off SH 2 (just north of Katikati).
- Description
The easiest direction is to take the right hand Lindemann Pack Track that runs up a short spur before levelling out. After approximately 2 hours the track meets a junction with the Wairoa Pack Track.
After returning to the junction, continue south until meeting junction with the Lindemann Ridge Track. A few metres south from the junction is a kauri dam site, 25 minutes further on is a small shelter and campsite area. Return to the junction and follow the Ridge Track back to the carpark at Lindemann Road. There are excellent views of the Tauranga area and offshore islands from the ridge.
