22km from Tauranga off SH 2, on Omokoroa Road.

Domain to Bramley Dr via the Historic Reserve – 40 minutes one way

Omokoroa Peninsula – up to 2.5 hours

Description

There are great views of the harbour and Makatana Island from the two hectare reserve which contains mature trees. The reserve is part of a walk that can begin at the Omokoroa Beach Domain at the end of the Esplanade. Walk along the beach and continue around the point and along the cliff top Esplanade Reserve. From here you can return the same way or via the residential streets.

The Omokoroa Peninsula offers a range of options or walking circuits around the residential streets, through small reserves and along the beaches.

No dogs allowed in the area without a permit.

Motorbikes and horses not allowed on walking tracks and no fires.
