Wairere Falls Tracks
- Location
- The Wairere Falls walk is 10km south of Te Aroha, off State Highway 26 (Te Aroha-Okauia Road) on Goodwin Road.
- Description
- A well formed track from the carpark crosses the river on bridges at several points, before climbing from the base of the cliff. Steps lead to the top of the gorge, through a tree grove and to the falls lookout platform (2 hours return). The track continues up, with steps and staircases, through forest to the top of the hill, branching to a lookout (4hrs return). Return along the same tracks. Car parking is provided at the start of the track. Toilets are located near the carpark.
