Sulphur Point & Marine Park

Location

This walk is accessed from the Dive Crescent roundabout by driving onto Mirrielees Road and turning into Cross Road and then Keith Allen Drive.

Description

Provides views of the harbor and Pilot Bay.

At the top end of Sulphur Point is one of Tauranga's marinas, which shows an array of large powerboats and yachts. The yachting and boating clubs have their premises here and onlookers can watch their regattas and races.

There is a coin operated BBQ (50c) facility at Sulphur Point.

Cycling is a popular activity around this area. A BMX track is located in Marine Park and caters for BMX enthusiasts.
