Wairakei Reserve

Best accessed from Gordon Spratt reserve situated on Parton road. Meander along to coast before turning down Parton Road to enter a science reserve area that both walkers and cyclists can enjoy.
There are several starting points and the walkway is a wide gravel track.
Follows the old Papamoa main drain.

Provides sweeping views along the coast and crosses over small streams in many places.
Papamoa beach reserve to Waiarekei reserve = 50mins
Wairakei reserve = 25 minutes
