Many start points, however this walk starts at Omanu Surf Club off Surf Club Road.

Description

The beaches along the Tauranga coastline are some of the most popular walking spots in Tauranga.

Designated walking areas have been created giving walkers extensive views of the coastline.

Follow the beach all the way down to the end of Girven Road beach. From here you can choose to turn around and head back along the beach, or onto Girven Road itself. You will pass by Grenada Park, the site of Tauranga’s new Aquatic Centre, and Bayfair Shopping Centre. Alternatively you can walk back along Oceanbeach Road to Surf Road.
